Earthwork Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Earthwork Foreman to oversee the daily operations of a construction site. This individual will be responsible for supervising a crew of 3-15 employees, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned craft workers
• Schedule and communicate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution
• Read and interpret construction plans to determine requirements and procedures
• Locate, measure, and mark site locations for structures or equipment
• Record personnel, production, and operational data on specified forms or reports
• Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction activities
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and specifications
• Train and supervise workers on company policies, safety practices, and procedures

Requirements:

• 5 years of construction experience, preferably as a foreman
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, project management, and subcontractors
• Ability to read and understand work plans
• Physical ability to climb, maintain balance, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and comply with safety policies
