Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in clients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings, focusing on improving communication skills.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to achieve individual goals.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current Maine state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of various speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

  1. Screening Call: Approximately 10-15 minutes with our recruiting team.
  2. Zoom Interview: Detailed interview session with the hiring team to discuss your qualifications and fit for the role.
  3. Offers: Typically extended within 24 hours after the Zoom interview.
