Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Oversee the startup, operation, and maintenance of molding and assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company and customer specifications.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough visual inspections of products to identify and address any defects, maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Production Planning: Load and configure validated master cycle parameters into injection molding machines to ensure accurate and consistent production.
  • Automation and Robotics: Program and align automated and robotic systems to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve minor to mid-size issues in the production processes, escalating complex problems to higher-level technicians or maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Assembly and Start-up: Conduct assembly start-up batches and shots for product changes or new versions, ensuring a smooth transition and consistent quality.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to and support all company policies, including ISO standards, health and safety requirements, continuous improvement, GMP, and standard work procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 90% of the shift.
  • Physical Abilities: Physical dexterity to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb as required.
  • Vision Requirements: Satisfactory vision testing results to meet the job's requirements.
  • Preferred Skills: Knowledge of injection molding and/or robotics is advantageous.
