LP Nurse

Lexington House, LLC is seeking a skilled LP Nurse to join our team in a Weekend Double LPN role. As a LP Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Receives report from off-going shift and gives report to on-coming shift
• Assigns nursing assistants and other designated personnel to ensure each resident's needs are met during the assigned shift
• Prepares and administers medications as ordered using the 5 rights method
• Completes treatments as ordered and assesses and documents accordingly
• Monitors residents for risk or complications as a result of their medical conditions

Requirements:

• Demonstrates leadership and managerial ability
• Has the ability to organize, plan, and supervise nursing assistants assigned to work a designated unit and shift
• Maintains effective interpersonal relationships and works well with the general public
