Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to perform a variety of microscopic, chemical, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine testing in serology, hematology, chemistry, and microbiology.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative procedures in accordance with written requisition of physician.
  • Maintain laboratory stock and prepare solutions, reagents, and stains.
  • Collect specimens from patients and keep detailed records of all tests performed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in science required.
  • MT: Board of Registry MT (ASCP, MT (AMT) or equivalent highly encouraged.
  • MLT: Board of Registry MLT (ASCP) or equivalent highly encouraged.
  • BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment.
