Language Arts Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Language Arts to join our team at Woods Services. As a Teacher of Language Arts, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

The Teacher of Language Arts will be responsible for developing and implementing an appropriate Language Arts educational program for students with disabilities. This will involve working closely with the principal, child study team, and other support staff to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and individualized education.

• Develop and implement a Language Arts educational program that meets the needs of students with disabilities.
• Work closely with the principal, child study team, and other support staff to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and individualized education.
• Provide instruction and support to students in Language Arts, including reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in Language Arts education.

• Bachelor's degree in Language Arts, Special Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• New Jersey certification as a Teacher of English/Language Arts Middle-High School or NJ TOH Certification.
