About the Role

MLee Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Physicist to join our team. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise and safe delivery of radiation therapy treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and quality assurance of radiation therapy and diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols related to radiation use.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement radiation treatment plans, including dosimetry calculations and optimization.
  • Patient Safety: Monitor and assess radiation exposure levels for patients and staff, ensuring minimal risk and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and support to medical staff on radiation safety practices and new technologies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, safety checks, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Physics or the American Board of Medical Physics, or completion of certification within one year of becoming eligible.
  • Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP-accredited program.
  • Completion of a two-year residency in Medical Physics.
