About the Role

The UR Coordinator is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for collaborating with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and patients to promote quality care outcomes and the effective use of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately interpreting treatment plans and medical records in accordance with current standards of care
  • Interpreting participating Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) certification requirements
  • Managing treatment activities offered to patients, including clinical screening of admissions, establishment of treatment plans, and interface with the treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations
  • Implementation and supervision of discharge planning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing (preferred)
  • Minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting
  • Experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, CMS quality improvement guidelines, particularly experience working with Medicare/Medicaid and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities
  • R.N with BSN highly preferred
  • Any additional certification related to case management, mental health, and/or quality improvement highly regarded
