UR Coordinator

The UR Coordinator is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for collaborating with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and patients to promote quality care outcomes and the effective use of resources.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately interpreting treatment plans and medical records in accordance with current standards of care
- Interpreting participating Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) certification requirements
- Managing treatment activities offered to patients, including clinical screening of admissions, establishment of treatment plans, and interface with the treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations
- Implementation and supervision of discharge planning
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing (preferred)
- Minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting
- Experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, CMS quality improvement guidelines, particularly experience working with Medicare/Medicaid and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities
- R.N with BSN highly preferred
- Any additional certification related to case management, mental health, and/or quality improvement highly regarded
