Traveling Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work in Martinsville, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience in speech language pathology and be able to work effectively with patients. The position is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for administering medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment, educating patients and other health professionals, and observing and evaluating patient responses during treatment. The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a dynamic environment and will be expected to follow hospital safety rules and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and technical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
