- Conduct, document, and analyze all titration processes.
- Effectively manage and interpret titration data.
- Regulate bath temperatures using manual or automated systems.
- Facilitate tank transfers between holding tanks.
- Coordinate with water treatment personnel regarding tank operations.
- Transfer chemicals from storage containers to tanks using pumps.
- Adjust water and chemical levels to ensure optimal concentration and cleanliness.
- Operate and troubleshoot React controllers for various processes.
- Utilize scrubber brushes efficiently, making necessary adjustments.
- Monitor production schedules for appropriate treatment changes.
- Maintain tank and bath levels accurately.
- Recycle cleaning solutions and rinse water for reuse.
- Understand and troubleshoot conductivity probe operations.
- Charge new baths and maintain wet section PM logs.
- Change tank and bath screens as required.
- Adjust and clean spray bars in coating booths.
- Manage squeeze roll pressures effectively.
- Operate and maintain oil separators.
- Execute quick treatment changes efficiently.
- Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for the wet section.
- Understand basic waste treatment operations and adhere to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding operational matters.
- Complete daily log sheets and calibrate process control equipment as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with 6S standards.
- Open and manage containers safely.
- Replace coating roll bearings as needed.
- Participate in coating roll changes and maintenance tasks.
- Assist in line repairs and cleaning as required.
- Handle totes using manual or powered equipment.
- Make informed decisions in the absence of supervision.
- Work at various heights safely.
- Follow FIFO procedures for chemical management.
- Train and assist new team members.
- Utilize computer systems for data entry and retrieval.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 55-gallon drums.
- Coordination to operate forklifts safely.
- Physical stamina to perform job duties in varying conditions.
- Visual acuity for reading instruments and instructions.
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- High school diploma or equivalent with strong reading and writing skills.
- Minimum six months of experience in an industrial or warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate small hand tools safely.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in a coating line is advantageous.
