Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team. As a Survey CAD Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing project files, analyzing field notes, and preparing survey documents. You will also develop an understanding of surveying concepts and our company's business.
Responsibilities- Review project files for necessary materials and information to carry out project scope and drafting tasks.
- Provide thorough analysis of field notes, legal descriptions, title easements, design plans, utility plans, and construction layout notes.
- Prepare survey documents, including ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey, Plat of Survey, Certified Survey Maps, topographic maps, Transportation Plats, Condominium Plats, Subdivision Plats, legal descriptions, and other survey exhibits.
- Develop an understanding of surveying concepts, our company business, and how surveying is integrated into plans and projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

To be successful as a Survey CAD Technician, you will need:
- An Associate's Degree in a related field or a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited school.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of surveying methods, practices, and techniques as well as the legal aspects of surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office products.
- Applicable U.S. based work experience.
