At Builders FirstSource, we're committed to helping you achieve your career goals. As a 2nd shift production foreman, you'll play a critical role in overseeing and supervising all component or millwork production activities at a specific location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve work processes to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide on-the-job training and quality standards to production staff to ensure learning and self-development opportunities.
  • Meet with teams and lead workers to inform them of daily, weekly, and monthly production goals, encourage questions and suggestions, and provide feedback on accomplishments and upcoming challenges.
  • Oversee activities such as maintaining inventory levels, unloading, storage, and movement of raw materials, placement and loading of finished products for shipping and delivery.
Requirements:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and five (5) years of experience performing and coordinating component manufacturing activities, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
