Key Responsibilities:
- Operate light industrial machinery within a production setting.
- Analyze manufacturing work orders to ascertain material and order specifications.
- Adhere to established protocols for completing work orders.
- Assess equipment requirements based on work order details.
- Utilize software applications for the setup, operation, and documentation of manufacturing activities.
- Conduct quality control checks at various stages, including first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Optimize equipment usage to enhance the output of finished goods and meet production targets.
- Diagnose and resolve minor equipment issues as they arise.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Support the training and development of seasonal staff in best practices.
- Assist with additional fulfillment tasks such as shipping, picking, packing, and stocking as required.
- Undertake other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience; 3 to 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of routings and single-level bills of materials is advantageous.
- Experience with JD Edwards software is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Effective collaboration with supervisors, colleagues, and floor staff to achieve organizational and departmental objectives.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally throughout the workday.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for the entire duration of the shift, typically ranging from 8 to 10 hours.
Travel Requirements:
No travel is necessary for this position.
Typical Work Schedule:
Standard business hours from Monday to Friday, generally requiring 40-45 hours per week.
FLSA Status:
This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime compensation.
Peak Work Periods:
Peak production times occur from November through January, during which additional hours may be necessary, including some Saturdays.
Working Environment:
The role is set in a general warehouse environment, requiring standing for up to 100% of the time and proximity to moving machinery. The lighting and temperature conditions are adequate, with moderate noise levels near certain equipment. Work involves the use of hands and fingers in conjunction with standard warehouse tools (shrink wrap, small pack, and collator).

This position does not have any direct reports.
