Facility Overview: The Emergency Care Center at Glens Falls Hospital is a leading facility in the region, providing around-the-clock care to a diverse patient population exceeding 50,000 individuals annually. Our comprehensive approach ensures efficient delivery of medical services.

  • Unit Capacity: 43 beds
  • RN to Patient Ratio: 1:4
  • Patient Demographics: Newborns to Geriatric patients

Submission Requirements:

  • Completion of a drug screening within 24 hours of offer acceptance is mandatory.
  • Experience Requirement: Must have prior experience working during an EPIC conversion and possess EPIC proficiency - this is non-negotiable.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting is required.
  • Recent travel experience in an ED environment is essential.
  • Proficiency in procedural sedation, rapid-sequence intubation (RSI), IV starts on pediatric patients, and arterial blood gas (ABG) draws is necessary.
  • Cerner experience is highly preferred.

Time Off Requests: Any requested time off during the assignment must be documented and verified upon upload. Requests for time off after submission will not be accepted, and a maximum of 5 days is allowed.

COVID-19 Vaccination: Vaccination is encouraged but not mandatory.

Certification Requirements:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)

State License Requirements:

  • New York State License is required.
