PRACTICE OVERVIEW
This position involves a comprehensive, adult-focused outpatient practice in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). The role encompasses physiatric evaluation and management for patients dealing with neurologic disorders, limb loss, and spinal conditions.

Collaboration is key, as you will work alongside specialists in Neurosurgery, Occupational Medicine, and Interventional Pain Management to provide optimal care for patients with both acute and chronic spinal issues. Additionally, you will engage with General and Interventional Neurology and Neurosurgery for the management of neurologic conditions.

As part of a robust health system, you will contribute to the ongoing development of a comprehensive spine program, participate in spine management conferences, and conduct peer case reviews.

Electrodiagnostic studies may be included in your practice, along with opportunities for additional procedures such as botulinum toxin injections and baclofen pump management.

Access to a diverse team of therapists specializing in neuro, pediatric, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation is available, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

REGIONAL OUTREACH
You will assess and manage patients with long-term functional limitations, developing individualized care plans in collaboration with other specialists.

This practice includes a team of seven physicians, comprising five adult and two pediatric physiatrists.

LOCATION
Situated in a vibrant community, this position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a population of approximately 86,000, serving a regional area of 460,000.
