Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel therapist in Richmond, Virginia. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
