Claims Processor

Franklin D. Azar and Associates P.C. is seeking a skilled Claims Processor to join our team. As a Claims Processor, you will be responsible for handling claims to insurance companies, sending out letters of representation, and updating insurance information.

• Update insurance tabs with accurate data, including address, claims representative, claim number, fax, and email.
• Send letters of representation to clients and insurance companies.
• Manage and update checklist items.
• Correspond with clients regarding insurance information.
• Update Medicaid, Medicare, and health insurance information in the insurance screen.
• Submit claims to insurance companies, Division of Workers Compensation, and other entities.
• Review accident reports and other documents for insurance information and conduct investigations as needed.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum six months of relevant experience providing administrative support in a multi-user office environment.
• Prior experience with medical records and billing is a plus.
• Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential.
