Welder Specialist

Job Summary:

Grus Personnel is seeking skilled Combo Pipe Welders for multiple commercial and industrial piping projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for Stick and Tig welding on carbon schedule 80 pipe up to 6 inches, and you must be willing and able to fit your own pipe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality welding operations on carbon schedule 80 pipe up to 6 inches
• Fabricate and assemble piping systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Conduct section 9 weld tests on 6" sch 80 carbon in 6G position using Tig for root and Stick for fill and cap
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with project teams to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pipe fabrication and welding
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening
