Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team at Inverness Golf Club. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining areas and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Service Preparation: Prepare dining areas before guests are seated, including setting up reservations, tables, and linens.
  • Table Setup and Maintenance: Set up private events with chairs, tables, and linens, decorate tables with candles, napkins, linens, and flowers, and place tableware and condiments on tables.
  • Service Delivery: Serve water and welcome snacks, refill water, coffee, and other nonalcoholic beverages, and remove dirty utensils and replenish as needed.
  • Post-Service Cleanup: Reset tables after guests leave and maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Previous Experience: Work experience as a Server Assistant, Food Runner, or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
