Maintenance Planner Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at PepsiCo North America Beverages. The successful candidate will be responsible for reducing equipment downtime, loss prevention, and related site costs by driving the organization to a planned proactive state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed job plans and schedules to ensure all work is coordinated on a weekly basis across all shifts in maintenance.
  • Work closely with supervisors and parts coordinators to schedule assigned work to maintenance technicians.
  • Monitor and track maintenance technicians' labor utilization and schedule downtime work as needed.
  • Schedule weekly p.m.'s and work orders for maintenance technicians.
  • Collaborate with the parts coordinator on kitting and planning, and support inventory parts management.
  • Maintain the Maintenance System (CMMS) database and provide support for TPM Pillar, HSE Program Elements, and Resource Conservation.

Requirements:

  • Technical experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • SAP knowledge for scheduling.
  • Ability to detail plan and schedule internal resources and contractors necessary to complete required work.
  • Strong competencies in technical knowledge and project management.
  • Formal and hands-on training in the use of computer Microsoft Suite and CMMS.
  • Good oral/written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Good administrative and mathematical skills.
  • Able to read blueprints and shop drawings.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $42,000 - $67,000.
