Salary: $90,000 - $96,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PT who thrives in an outpatient setting and values being part of a collaborative and passionate team of dynamic therapists. The ideal candidate will make a real impact in a rewarding field providing personalized one-on-one care. Responsibilities include:
• Performing evaluations and developing treatment plans
• Regularly re-assessing effectiveness of treatment plans, attending staffing meetings and family conferences
• Performing discharge evaluations, making appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and providing referral and education resources
• Communicating patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
• Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year's work experience as a physical therapist preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods and additional physical requirements including pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times
