Job Overview

The Village Family Service Center is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Alexandria, Minnesota. As a licensed professional, you will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families in various settings, including outpatient, school-based, and in-home environments.

About the Role

This position requires a master's degree in a human service field or behavioral science and licensure as a LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP. The successful candidate will have training in trauma-specific therapy modules and experience working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling services in various settings, including outpatient, school-based, and in-home
  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner using electronic records systems
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Master's degree in a human service field or behavioral science
  • Fully licensed as a LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP, or working towards full independent licensure under supervision
  • Training in trauma-specific therapy modules preferred but not required
