Access Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Longview, Texas.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering questions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures, and results.
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
