Job Description:

The Class B Driver is a key member of our ThermTech team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving areas. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping and Receiving: Properly tag all incoming orders in real-time, verify packaging is suitable prior to shipping, and ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.
  • Truck Operations: Load and unload trucks as needed, maintain a clean and organized truck, and perform daily pre-trip inspections.
  • Customer Service: Deliver and pick up orders on time, provide excellent customer service, and remain aware of overnight orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Procedures and Compliance: Follow established procedures for receiving, shipping, and tagging, and maintain a high level of compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Must be able to drive a split shift manual transmission, and have route driving experience preferred.
  • License and Certification: Class B license required, and current Fed Med card required.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of Southeastern Wisconsin's roadways, fluent in English, and basic computer skills.
Soft Skills:
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
  • Organizational: Organized and able to work collaboratively with others.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused and able to provide excellent customer service.
