- High school diploma or equivalent
- Extensive culinary experience, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting
- Certification from a reputable culinary school or equivalent experience
- Food safety certification, such as ServeSafe
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, recipes, and menu planning
