We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Intensive Care Specialist to join our team. As a critical care physician assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the care and management of critically ill cardiac patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the care and management of critically ill cardiac patients, including those with cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, mixed shock, complicated acute coronary syndromes, valvular disease, infectious endocarditis, complicated arrhythmias, and other critical care issues complicating patients with baseline cardiovascular disease.
  • Round on these patients as part of multidisciplinary teams, performing critical care procedures within your scope of practice.
  • Manage mechanical circulatory support devices such as IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
  • Participate in family meetings and consultations.

Requirements:

  • Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant; or
  • Current limited permit issued by New York State to practice as a Physician Assistant.
