Pet Groomer

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team at Tractor Supply Company. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to dogs, using your knowledge of canine characteristics and grooming styles and techniques.

• Deliver world-class customer satisfaction by providing personalized grooming services to dogs.
• Assist in generating business by calling existing and new customers, scheduling appointments, and following up with reminders.
• Book appointments, greet pets, and report any accidents or injuries to the Store Manager promptly.
• Follow established bathing and grooming procedures, clean ears, clip nails, and perform other necessary services.
• Adhere to customer instructions for clipping patterns and use electric clippers, combs, and shears to achieve desired results.
• Comb and shape dogs' coats, talk to animals to keep them calm, and complete customer and company forms accurately.
• Observe all safety rules and procedures, maintain a clean and safe environment, and assist with store operations as needed.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience grooming or styling pets, with a focus on dogs and cats.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with successful completion of Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry pets weighing up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Our working environment is favorable, with moderate noise levels. You will be exposed to wet conditions, pets, and pet waste, as well as sharp grooming instruments and perfumed shampoos and soaps.
