Job Summary

As a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant at Interface Rehab, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients/residents, communicate with their families, physicians, and other healthcare team members, and maintain accurate records of services provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating Patients: Promptly assess patients upon receiving physician referrals for treatment, adhering to facility policies and expectations.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with licensed therapists.
  • Documentation: Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, 14-day progress reports to physicians, recertifications, and discharge summaries according to company and facility policies.
Additional Expectations:
  • Provide necessary training and guidance to student interns as assigned.
  • Comply with State Licensing Board guidelines, Company policies, and facility rules.
  • Report any problem areas or equipment within facilities to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications:
  • Status as a Physical Therapist License Applicant in California.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • A completed physical examination from a licensed physician.
  • Negative TB skin test within the past year or clear Chest X-ray within the past five years.
Work Environment:

This is an active patient care environment in a skilled nursing facility, requiring safety precautions at all times. Salary: $44.00 to $50.00 per hour.
