We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Physician to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Supervisory Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive preventive and therapeutic health care services to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement short and long-range strategic plans to improve healthcare services
- Manage the operational budget for outpatient services
- Perform basic physical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Supervise and evaluate the work performance of subordinates
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
- At least 1 year of supervised experience providing direct service in a clinical setting
- Board Certification in the physician's specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- 5 years of graduate training in the specialty of Family Practice or equivalent experience and training
- Experience in healthcare leadership and management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
