Food Runner Job Description

Overview:

Ralph Sampson's American Taproom, an upscale sports bar brought to you by a hometown hero, is seeking a skilled Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your attention to detail and efficiency in presenting food to our guests will contribute to the overall ambiance and satisfaction of our diners.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to accurately assemble and deliver dishes to the appropriate tables.
  • Ensure that each plate is presented in a visually appealing manner and meets our quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with servers and other front-of-house team members to guarantee efficient and synchronized service.
  • Communicate any special guest requests or dietary preferences to the kitchen to ensure a personalized dining experience.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail to accurately match dishes to orders and maintain presentation standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and organization.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise between the kitchen and front-of-house team seamlessly.
  • Enthusiasm for Southern cuisine and a genuine interest in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
