Job Summary

Sundt is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Construction Manager/General Superintendent to lead our field operations and ensure the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate means and methods, manpower, equipment, and material resources to accomplish project goals.
  • Develop and manage the construction plan with the project manager for successful project execution.
  • Ensure project team coordination of schedules, both internally and externally with subcontractors, for monthly updates.
  • Oversee the development of the CPM project schedule with project superintendents and project manager.
  • Participate in business development proposals and presentations.
  • Responsible for understanding prime contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements, etc.
Requirements
  • 10 years' construction project supervision experience.
  • BS Degree in construction-related field.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Projects worked in excess of $200 million in size.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.
  • May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
  • May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis.
  • May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
  • Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
  • Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc.
  • Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects on a frequent basis.
  • Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day.
  • Will lift, push, or pull objects on an occasional basis.
  • Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
