Position Overview

This role involves providing critical support to a Department of Defense (DoD) client, addressing a diverse range of requirements such as acquisition, program oversight, technology evaluation, demonstration assistance, and comprehensive testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safeguarding and defense of information and information systems, focusing on their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. This will be executed in alignment with directives established by Presidential orders, Department of Defense (DOD) regulations, Army guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements throughout the systems lifecycle.
  • Assist in responding to Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and related taskers.
  • Review RMF packages, providing analysis and recommendations to inform the Cybersecurity Program Manager regarding the quality of submissions for further review.
  • Develop and implement procedures to assess the cybersecurity posture of the organization and its subordinate entities.
  • Support the development of operational concepts, policies, and security architecture recommendations to enhance S&T development across various computing platforms.
  • Coordinate with all subordinate organizations to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
  • Track and manage IA-related taskers from higher authorities to resolution.
  • Prepare meeting agendas three days in advance and distribute meeting minutes three days post-meeting for review and approval, ensuring documentation is uploaded to the designated SharePoint site.
  • Update and maintain all necessary cybersecurity policies and documentation.
  • Provide weekly updates on RMF, Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), and IA training activities.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with tickets SI/TK/G/HCS.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must meet all Federal, DoD, and Army certification and training standards as per DoDI IAT Level II upon commencement.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively problem-solve and collaborate within a team in a dynamic environment.
