Stafford County, VA is seeking a skilled Gymnastics / Ninja Instructor to join our team. As a Gymnastics / Ninja Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing individuals and groups in a variety of gymnastic skills, drills, and movements.

• Prepares and instructs gymnastics classes, trains aides, and supervises programs.
• Instructs level-appropriate gymnastics skills for recreation gymnastics and/or ninja classes, birthday parties, and special events.
• Trains gymnasts in strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and coordination.
• Supervises assigned areas of the facility.
• Interprets program curriculum orally and visually to students and parents.
• Ensures that safety precautions are observed in all activities.
• Reports to Recreation Programmer III orally and in writing on activities, groups, or individuals, plans, or problems.
• Uses correct spotting techniques.

• General knowledge of gymnastics equipment and skills.
• General knowledge of individual organization, principles, techniques, and methods used in gymnastics.
• General knowledge of child behavior and coaching techniques.
• Ability to ask questions and communicate effectively to children.
• Ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and less than 1 year of experience in competitive gymnastics, cheer, or ninja in college, high school, and/or club level plus some experience in teaching and coaching gymnastics, cheer, or ninja.
