Position Summary:

The Manager plays a crucial role in efficiently inspecting and servicing vehicles for our clientele, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This role is pivotal in upholding the mission of Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers and adhering to our core values. Managers are expected to contribute to the overall success of the team under the leadership of the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct work with precision and speed, allowing customers to remain in their vehicles.
  • Provide courteous services to every customer, such as cleaning windshields and lubricating door hinges.
  • Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections.
  • Assess vehicles for any additional repair needs.
  • Communicate with the Service Consultant and/or VSI regarding necessary mechanical services.
  • Check fluid levels in the power steering reservoir and transmission.
  • Examine belts, hoses, and wiper blades for wear.
  • Verify tire air pressure.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized workspace.
  • Execute all duties as outlined in the SOS manual.
  • Oversee and manage all store functions in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Conduct inventory management and complete stock orders.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store.

Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of standing, bending, and stooping.
  • Occasional exertion of force to move objects, which may exceed 10 lbs regularly.
  • Work at a production rate pace that may involve constant pushing and/or pulling of materials.
