Dishroom Attendant

Old Chicago Pizza is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, and pans, and other kitchen equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes and place them in dish racks for washing.
• Sort and remove trash and garbage to the dumpster.
• Stock clean glassware, utensils, and dishware.
• Ensure the work area and equipment stay clean throughout the shift.
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and three-compartment sink as needed.
• Inspect and verify machine operation and chemical levels throughout the workday.
• Wash and mop various work areas, including tables, walls, refrigerators, and floors.
• Work closely with BOH and FOH team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate the cleaning caddy every shift.
• Clean and maintain BOH, FOH, Bar, and Restroom areas prior to or after hours of operation.

• No prior education or experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• 100% standing.
• 75% bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching.
• 75% lifting and carrying racks of up to 45 pounds, up to 80 times per shift.
• 75% using chemicals and cleaning materials according to safety regulations.
• 20% performing other related tasks designated by management.
