Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Laborer to join our team at Benton Franklin Health District. As a General Laborer, you will play a critical role in supporting the efficient operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
  • Setup and teardown of work sites or meeting spaces.
  • Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks and report any issues or equipment malfunctions to their supervisor.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas using hand trucks, or other equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), stand, and walk for long periods.
  • Basic understanding of hand tools and machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Dependable and punctual with a solid work ethic.
