Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Lead to join our team at Aegis Security Insurance. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in Agile methodologies, project management, and stakeholder communication to drive business success.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage projects from conception to delivery, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. You will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams on Agile practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Facilitation & Coaching:
    • Guide and coach teams on Agile principles, values, and best practices to improve team performance and delivery.
    • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and learning within teams.
  • Project Management:
    • Plan and execute projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
    • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs based on business needs.
    • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and adjust plans to ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.
    • Prepare and deliver status updates, project reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
    • Manage expectations and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Support and empower cross-functional teams to achieve their objectives.
    • Identify and remove impediments to ensure team success.
    • Promote accountability and ownership within teams.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or related role in an Agile environment.
  • Proven track record of managing projects in the insurance industry, including familiarity with underwriting, claims, or policy administration systems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $150,000-$210,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
