Position Overview:
The role involves serving as an educator for the Paramedicine degree program, with ongoing assignments contingent upon program requirements and financial support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess expertise in emergency medical services (EMS) agency operations, management, and leadership.
  • Adapt and enhance curriculum to align with evolving trends in the Paramedicine sector.
  • Deliver instructional content effectively in both traditional and online classroom settings.
  • Conduct both formative and summative evaluations of student performance.
  • Create and uphold a constructive learning atmosphere, demonstrating and expecting professionalism in all educational interactions.
  • Collaborate with EMS agency representatives to achieve program objectives and educational outcomes.
  • Work under the guidance of the Paramedicine Program Director.
  • Prepare laboratory settings for classes and assist in the dismantling and cleaning of lab equipment post-activities.
  • Serve as a laboratory instructor during practical sessions.
  • Exhibit safe and proper usage of laboratory instruments and hazardous materials.
  • Provide mentorship and serve as a positive role model for students.
  • Participate in annual program meetings.
  • Contribute to the annual assessment report of student learning.
  • Maintain accurate student and course documentation.
  • Keep current course outlines, objectives, and grading criteria for all classes organized and filed.
  • Demonstrate innovative and flexible teaching methodologies.
  • Offer continuing education opportunities for the community.
  • Complete all required training sessions.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
