The successful candidate will be tasked with the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of crane and hoist systems. This role emphasizes professionalism and exceptional customer service, ensuring that integrity and ethical standards are maintained throughout all operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-quality installations of overhead crane systems and hoists
  • Conduct inspections equivalent to OSHA standards, warranty repairs, and troubleshooting
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules and respond to emergency service requests
  • Engage with clients to effectively resolve equipment issues
  • Perform necessary electrical and mechanical repairs or adjustments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while recommending enhancements
  • Document all service activities and uphold a professional demeanor
  • Stay informed on the latest codes and regulations for overhead cranes and hoists
  • Oversee the care and maintenance of company tools and equipment

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting cranes and hoists
  • Knowledge of 3-phase motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and electrical circuits
  • Prior experience with overhead cranes and scissor lifts is advantageous
  • An associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in demanding conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with clients
  • A results-oriented and safety-conscious approach
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and own hand tools
