Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our equipment and facilities. This position encompasses both scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks, as well as troubleshooting and repairs.

Shift: 6PM-6AM, 1-3-3 rotation
Starting Pay Rate: $26.40/hr plus $2/hr shift differential

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment failures, replacing defective parts and utilizing standard diagnostic tools, technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Maintain and repair machinery and mechanical systems, including pneumatic tools, motors, and production equipment, using a variety of testing instruments and hand tools.
  • Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Inspect and repair complex electrical equipment, including motors, switches, and automated systems.
  • Perform wiring tasks and install electrical conduits according to schematics and specifications.
  • Assist engineering teams in diagnosing issues and proposing corrective measures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports on equipment performance and downtime.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
  • Trade School Certification or equivalent experience in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or Multi-craft Maintenance Technician.
  • Strong understanding of plant utility systems and industrial machine repair techniques.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be safety-conscious and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
  • Willingness to work overtime and handle physical demands of the job.
