Job Summary

The Overnight Custodian will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of all areas of the facility to provide a positive member experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Supply Management: Stock locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products to ensure a smooth member experience.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager, and follow the Lost and Found Policy to turn in lost member property.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Custodial Experience: Previous experience in custodial work is preferred.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Shift Requirements: Ability to work the overnight shift is mandatory.
  • Personal Qualities: Honesty, exceptional work ethic, problem-solving skills, and diplomacy are required for this position.
  • Education and Age: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, and the candidate must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Demands
  • Physical Activity: Continual standing and walking during the shift, as well as occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Lifting Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
