As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Assist with daily operations of the unit, including maintaining a clean and safe environment, and responding to emergencies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
