Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement production schedules, manage inventory, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Oversee quality systems, conduct regular inspections, and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintenance and Asset Management: Manage plant maintenance, perform routine inspections, and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor a team of production staff, provide coaching and training, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including production staff, quality assurance, and maintenance teams, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, manufacturing software, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
Working Conditions

The Plant Production Superintendent will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to production equipment, materials, and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Physical Demands: The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors.
