Position Summary:

As a Property Accountant, you will be an integral member of our finance team, concentrating on the preparation and analysis of financial statements. Your key duties will encompass processing financial transactions, overseeing accounts receivable, and generating audit documentation. We seek a candidate with a robust grasp of accounting principles and exceptional analytical capabilities to thrive in our dynamic environment.

Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM; with onsite presence required two days each week.

Your Contributions:

  • Facilitate financial reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Examine financial statements for precision and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivables and work closely with property management teams.
  • Evaluate operational outcomes and discrepancies.
  • Assist in financial reporting and audit processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial reporting applications.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Yardi Voyager ERP system.
  • Experience in development accounting and within real estate organizations.
  • Understanding of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and affordable housing principles.
