**The Role:**

As an MRI Technologist, you will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
* Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
* Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
* Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
* Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
* Perform scan in accordance to center's protocol.
* Administer intravenous contrast.
* Complete all forms pertaining to patient's exam.
* Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
* Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
* Forward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
* Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
* Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
* Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.

**Requirements:**

* Prior MRI scanning experience
* MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications
* Fantastic interpersonal skills
* Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
* Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties
* Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
