About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team at Verizon. As a Field Technician, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing our telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain telecommunications equipment, including cables, wires, and network devices.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our network infrastructure, including climbing ladders and working at heights.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment, including trucks and cranes, to perform work operations.
  • Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • CDL or the ability to obtain one.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related work experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications technology and network infrastructure.
