Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Navigator to join our team at Access CMC. As a key member of our call center, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality, accessible care.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Navigator, you will be responsible for responding to inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers, offering assistance with scheduling, healthcare queries, and other needs. You will also make outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and care plan coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic and helpful support to patients and healthcare providers via phone, ensuring their healthcare journey is as smooth as possible.
  • Accurately document patient interactions, update records, and maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve patient issues or concerns, escalating complex matters to the appropriate department.
  • Assist patients with navigating insurance, referrals, and healthcare resources.
  • Make outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and care plan coordination.
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Experience : Prior experience in a call center, healthcare, or customer service environment is preferred.
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage patients with empathy and clarity.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency with call center systems, electronic health records (EHR), and general office software (MS Office, Google Suite).
  • Problem-Solving : Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve patient issues quickly and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy in documenting patient information and maintaining records.
  • Team-Oriented : A collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams.
