We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Embark Behavioral Health's residential treatment center in Needville, TX. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients.
Responsibilities- Assist with scheduling medical appointments and communicate with registered nurses and staff regarding implementation of physician's orders.
- Collect urine drug screens as needed and maintain accurate medical records.
- Monitor clients' vital signs and weights, and update medical records accordingly.
- Work with pharmacies to ensure accurate medication dispensing and availability.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and clients to arrange medication for home passes and discharges.
- Communicate effectively with treatment teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current LVN license
- One year of nursing experience preferred
- Excellent time management, assertiveness, problem-solving, and self-motivation skills
- Knowledge of standard medical terminology, legal charting procedures, and medications
- Ability to use Microsoft software and navigate local networks
