We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Corteva Agriscience. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Plant Operations: Provide technical support to plant operations teams to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
  • Deliver Maintenance Support: Deliver maintenance support for capital projects, including planning, execution, and completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain Plant Shop and Tools: Maintain the condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Support Process Safety Management: Support Process Safety Management and location safety efforts to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct Seasonal Prep Work: Conduct seasonal prep work, including annual preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure plant equipment is in good working order.
  • Assure Equipment Maintenance: Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Complete Grounds and Facility Maintenance: Complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Utilize Predictive Maintenance Tools: Utilize predictive maintenance tools to detect and remedy future machine failures, reducing downtime and improving overall plant efficiency.
  • Create Preventative Maintenance Plans: Create, continually update, and train on preventative maintenance plans for varied equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Complete Fabrication Projects: Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain Equipment Records: Maintain detailed equipment records and prints to ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of plant equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One (1) year of education and/or experience in Industrial Electromechanical or Maintenance experience (e.g., HVAC, Millwright, Welding, Pneumatic Controls, Hydraulics, etc.).
  • Skills: Must be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently. Possess good communication skills and work well with others. Possess basic mechanical and equipment knowledge on conveyors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, bearings, etc.
  • Physical Demands: Willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting.
  • Technology: Comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Health and Safety: Uphold health and safety to the highest standard and consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work Schedule: Willing and able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours, which include nights and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production demand.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree in Maintenance, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related field.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of education and experience in Industrial Electromechanical and/or Maintenance experience (e.g., HVAC, Millwright, Welding, Pneumatic Controls, Hydraulics, etc.).
  • Skills: Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic repair and test equipment. Previous experience or knowledge of production agriculture and associated machinery (i.e., conveyors, elevator legs, packaging equipment, etc.) or other mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Work Authorization: No Visa Sponsorship offered or available for this position.
