Join our dedicated team at Noland Health Services as a Licensed Nursing Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential daily nursing care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in accordance with their individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care to residents as assigned, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
- Administer and document medication assistance as directed by the healthcare team.
- Support residents in preparing for medical appointments, activities, and family visits.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including changing linens as needed.
- Welcome new residents upon admission and assist them in settling into their rooms.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the charge nurse promptly.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure residents' personal care needs are met according to their preferences.
- Assist in transporting residents to appointments and social activities as required.
- Help with lifting, turning, and positioning residents safely.
- Record blood sugar levels using the Free Style Glucose Monitoring system as directed.
- Utilize Smart Charting IPAC for documenting activities of daily living and meals.
- Complete incident reports in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required, or candidates must obtain certification within four months of hire. Previous experience as a CNA is preferred.
Physical RequirementsCandidates must be able to:
- Move consistently throughout the workday.
- Reach, bend, and stoop intermittently.
- See and hear adequately, with or without prosthetics, to fulfill job requirements.
- Push, pull, or move a minimum of 100 pounds using proper body mechanics.
- Stand or walk for 75% of the workday.
- Manage the mental and emotional demands of the position.
